2 cups all purpose or bread flour
2 cups whole wheat flour
1/2 cup rye flour
1/2 cup oatmeal
1/2 cup cornmeal
1/2 cup cracked wheat (if the store doesn't have it in the cereal or flour section, try looking in the produce department. Ask for toboli wheat, but make sure you don't get the salad mix)
1/3 cup non-fat dry milk
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon corn syrup or honey (optional)
1 Tablespoon lard or corn or canola oil
1 teaspoon yeast disolved in 1/8 cup water
1 14.5 ounce can chicken stock
1 egg beaten with 1 Tablespoon milk
Mix all dry ingredients together.
Warm the chicken stock, and mix with all other wet ingredients.
Add to dry ingredients. Mix well. Should be like a bread dough.
Knead for about 5 minutes, and let rest for 10 minutes.
Divide dough, roll out and cut in fancy shapes, or just roll out in jelly roll pan.
Score with knife into desired widths and lengths.
Put in oven, turn on to 300 degrees, bake 1 hour.
Turn off oven and let biscuits sit in oven overnight. Store at room temp. in plastic bag.
Feed dogs as desired. (as desired by you, not by the dogs).
